Associate of Applied Science:  Computer Information Systems

The Computer Information Systems degree program prepares students for employment as computer support specialists and related employment positions such as web page designer and network specialist.  The program provides learning opportunities which develop the academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.  Students are introduced to the concepts, principles, and techniques required in computer information processing.  Program graduates will be competent in the general areas of communication, social sciences, and mathematics as well as in the technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, program design and development, and computer networking.
