- Vaccination
- Taking antibiotics
- Limit alcohol consumption

- Proper hand washing
- Sterile and proper procedure for tatooing
and body piercing
- Proper aftercare of tatoo and body piercing
- Proper cleanliness
- No sharing of personal items after you have
used them
